Four Workout Stages for a Better Burn

Cardio Training

We will use state-of-the-art treadmills with intuitive interfaces. A certified Bartlett trainer will guide you through various efforts by helping you set the speed and inclination. With their guidance in every class, you will get the most out of each and every workout.

The group workout combines short to long treadmill blocks that focus on elevating your heart rate, burning calories, and building better cardio health.

Resistance Training

In the resistance portion of our group workout, you will use everything from dumbbells and battle ropes to good old-fashioned bodyweight exercises.

We aim to develop all of the muscles in your body for a total body effort every class. Over time you will improve your strength and stamina through repetition and consistency. The resistance portion is designed to help you burn fat and increase lean muscle mass.

180-Second Finisher

Every class ends with a 180-second finisher (3 minutes). It is our belief that this is the icing on the cake to the perfect workout. We want you to leave everything you have in the room and end each workout feeling accomplished.

You will perform short, high-intensity exercises followed by short rest periods over 180 seconds (or 3 minutes). This has been proven to improve a person’s cardio levels and insulin resistance, leaving you feeling like you’ve given it your all after every class.

Light Therapy

The fourth and final factor that makes our 180 Red Fit group workouts unique is colored lighting. We carefully choreograph the color in the room to harmonize with the workout blocks.

The lighting changes with each intensity block of the workout. This generates the right energy to complete the workouts at the highest level.

Color Therapy

Amp Up Your Workout with Light Therapy

Color and light therapy are key components of the 180 Red Fit workout near Bartlett, IL.

Using colored lights as part of your group workout dramatically enhances your blood flow and overall headspace. The lighting in the studio is used to enhance the experience through blue, violet, and red lights. The trainers will change the color of the room throughout the workout as members progress from one effort to the next. This will give you a full mind and body experience.

Your body responds to light signals. According to Phyllis Zee, M.D., Associate Director of the Centre for Sleep & Circadian Biology, “Light has a very powerful effect on the brain. It regulates our performance. Paired with the mood-boosting effects of exercise, light can increase our serotonin levels, making us happier and more motivated to work out.”
